Here are some further tips on how to keep your audience loyal. Keep the ideas in mind to keep people from saying, "That company used to be great, but that was a long time ago..."

Idea 3 - Go out of your way to reach out to the public. Ask yourself, "Who's reading my advertising? Is it just a few crazy-dedicated people, or are my ads reaching beyond the typical audience?" Either method can work, depending on what you're selling. If you can only justify selling to a small group of customers, then don't spend a fortune. On the other hand, if you need the maximum possible sales, and if your product is compelling enough to bring in a large audience, then put effort into your campaign.

Idea 4 - Make sure to avoid "abandoning" your best customers. Don't forget your company's origins, and remember them as you chart a course for the future. Remember why people chose to buy from your company five, ten, or more years ago. Can they get similar products and services now? Or does your audience feel abandoned because your company now focuses on different people, or has different goals?
